Context and Background
One of our customers builds driverless transport systems with WiFi control system. The shuttles operate with a lithium-ion battery, which reduces recharge times to ten minutes. Conventional lead acid batteries require 5 hours, which means that the automated storage systems would not be operational for a longer period of time.
In this case we use the 251L-24-SD, which is characterized by its Buck Boost level and the output side 24V power supply can be maintained even at input voltages of well below 15V. Due to the very high efficiency of this DC/DC converter is best suited for battery powered systems.
