Whether construction machines in Alaska, cable cars in the Swiss Alps or wind turbines in India, all applications are exposed to different environmental influences. To guarantee the quality of our Demke DC/DC converters even during different environmental influences, we have to test them under extreme conditions and let them age prematurely. With the increasing know-how, the service life of our laboratory helpers is getting longer and longer. Therefore we can offer you further services with our in-house climatic chambers. Our lab helpers have more than proven themselves in the development of DC/DC converters. Thanks to them, we can design and manufacture extremely robust, climate-proof and individual devices for various applications.

We are able to simulate a high temperature range between -70 °C and 180 °C. Furthermore, climate tests from +10 °C to +95 °C and humidity ranges from 10% to 95% are possible directly in our laboratory.

The climatic chamber and the temperature chamber can be used for various tests in advance to check the behavior of our Demke DC-Transformers during development for customer-specific requirements, load-bearing capacity and reliability and to detect any weak points on time and correct them before series production begins.

As a result, our DC/DC converters have the following characteristics:

  • no power derating
  • for ambient temperatures between -40°C / +85°C
  • thermal shutdown at +90°C
