The DC-Transformer 145-12-SD belongs to the non-isolated DC/DC step-down converters of the 100 series. Due to the 1:6.25 wide input range with 16 to 100 VDC input voltage, it is perfectly suitable as a 12V power supply in battery electric systems with supply voltages of 24V, 48V and 80V. Thanks to its size of 77x52x19mm and weight of 166g, it is ideal for space-critical applications.

Already its predecessor (141-12-SD) was highly integrated thanks to the use of state-of-the-art components, as the following characteristic curve plots explicitly show.

The turn-on threshold and the undervoltage lockout are very low at about 14V and 12.5V, to maintain supercapacitor powered systems as long as possible and reasonable.
