Non-isolated step-down Demke DC/DC Converter - 12V 15A

This performance upgrade includes a power increase of 35W with a simultaneous noise reduction.

Demke DC-Transformers have always been optimized for maximum efficiency with minimum noise emission - we continue to pursue this goal consistently.

The DC-Transformer 141-12-SD is one of the non-isolated step-down DC/DC converters of the 100 series. Due to the 1:3.6 wide range input with 16 to 58 VDC input voltage it is perfectly suited as 12V power supply in battery electric systems with supply voltages of 24V and 48V.

Thanks to the use of state-of-the-art components, we will be able to offer the highly integrated DC/DC converter with 12V output with 25% more power and increase the output current from 12A to 15A. (Attention: The power derating of the connection plug must be taken into account!)

The DC/DC converter with 12V and 15A delivers a constant current of up to 16A in short circuit mode.

The turn-on threshold and the undervoltage lockout are very low at approximately 13V and 11V respectively, in order to maintain supercapacitor powered systems as long as practical and possible.
