Applications

Short-circuit proof buck-boost charging converter for primary use in supercapacitor-powered autonomous systems with an output-side backup battery. The converter with 28V output and up to 13A short-circuit current is designed to power to 13.8V batteries in parallel. The alternative 258E-28-SD with an extended input voltage range of 16 ... 55V for 48V supercapacitor powered systems complements the input voltage range generously.e
