Applications

Short-circuit proof Buck-Boost DC/DC converter or DC charging converter for primary use in supercapacitor powered autonomous systems like automated guided vehicles (AGV) with backup battery on the output side. The very low switch-on threshold of the LE1 version is approximately 7V. At 200W power this DC/DC converter boosts up the input voltage to 29V input currents up to 30A and beyond. Even just before the 6V undervoltage logout threshold, a battery connected on the output side can be charged with maximum short-circuit current.
