Demke Electronic's portfolio includes non-isolated DC/DC step up and step down converters up to 600W power. Demke DC/DC buck-boost converters are part of to the 200 series. It must be pointed out that even non-isolated Demke DC/DC Buck Boost converters are short circuit proof in all operating points.
Thanks to their universal design and discrete construction, our DC/DC step-up and step down converters with their typically 1:4 ultra-wide input range stand out from other dc-dc converters and can be used in a variety of applications.
All Demke DC-Transformer have excellent mechanical and electrical characteristics. Our DC/DC converters are extremely robust and long-term stable. With the help of integrated EMC input and output filters, we limit the ripple and noise of current and voltage to a minimum. All DC/DC buck-boost converters comply with common industry standards, some even with residual EMC standard according to EN55022-B.
Demke DC-Transformer of the 200 series are intended to be used at ambient temperatures from -40°C to +85°C and they are no-load and short-circuit proof over the entire specified temperature range. Obviously, our non-isolated DC/DC buck-boost converter are used as a battery charging converter. Further they can drive high capacitive loads thanks to uncompromising control theory.
The performance record is supplemented by the high specific power with a very high efficiency.
The polyurethane potting protects the electronic circuit against environmental influences and distributes the generated heat loss during operation homogeneously over the entire DC/DC converter, so that a passive heat sink via the bottom of the housing is sufficient in most cases.
