Our custom DC/DC converters are tailored precisely to your individual requirements and provide solutions when standard products are not sufficient. We develop custom DC/DC converters with unipolar output voltages such as 12 V, 13.8 V, 24 V, 27.5 V, 28 V, 29 V, 48 V, 57 V and up to 200 V. We also offer isolated DC/DC buck-boost converters with bipolar output voltages such as ±15 V, ±24 V, ±28 V and beyond.
Everything in One Place: From Prototype to Series Production
Development and testing take place in our own laboratory in Wil. We check feasibility, build prototypes and test them in-house – including efficiency, thermal behaviour and EMC, with measurement reports for your approval. Series production then takes place with our DIN EN ISO 9001:2015-certified manufacturing partner in Germany. Every unit is 100% tested before delivery.
Throughout the entire project, you have one dedicated contact person. Specifications, revisions and measurement reports are stored together in the customer portal instead of being spread across different email threads.

When is a custom DC/DC converter the right choice?
A custom DC/DC converter is the right choice when a standard product does not fully meet the requirements of your application. This may include specific input or output voltages, higher power levels, special connectors, mechanical requirements or demanding environmental conditions.
What can be customised on a DC/DC converter?
Depending on the project, parameters such as input voltage range, output voltage, output power, connectors and mechanical design can be customised. Unipolar and bipolar output voltages as well as galvanically isolated solutions are also possible.
Are custom output voltages available?
Yes. In addition to standard voltages, we develop solutions with output voltages such as 13.8 V, 27.5 V, 28 V, 29 V, 48 V, 57 V and up to 200 V. Bipolar output voltages such as ±15 V, ±24 V or ±28 V are also possible.
What information do you need for a custom solution?
For an initial technical assessment, we need as much information as possible about the input voltage range, nominal input voltage, required output voltage, output current or power, quantity and application. Additional requirements can be provided directly in the enquiry form.
Can existing DEMKE DC/DC converters also be customised?
Yes. In many cases, an existing DEMKE platform can be used as the basis for a custom solution. We assess which modifications are possible based on the technical requirements of your project.
How does the development of a custom DC/DC converter work?
Once we receive your requirements, we first assess the technical feasibility and determine which existing solution is best suited as a basis. We then define the product specification together with you and develop the right solution for your application.
