These robust and long-term reliable DC/DC converters are designed for extreme temperatures from −40 °C to +85 °C, with no power derating, and provide reliable performance even under demanding conditions. They are also protected against no-load operation and short circuits, ensuring maximum safety and long service life.

Integrated EMC filters effectively reduce ripple, ensuring a stable and clean output voltage. Our DC/DC converters meet the highest industry standards, with selected models also complying with the strict requirements of EN 55022 Class B. The protective polyurethane encapsulation provides excellent protection against environmental influences and ensures efficient heat dissipation, further increasing the service life and reliability of the converters.

What is an isolated DC/DC buck-boost converter?

An isolated DC/DC buck-boost converter can both step down and step up a variable DC input voltage while galvanically isolating the input and output. This keeps the desired output voltage stable even when the input voltage is temporarily below or above the output voltage.

Galvanic isolation is useful when the input and output need to be electrically isolated from each other. It can isolate differences in potential, prevent ground loops and separate sensitive system areas from each other. This is particularly relevant for demanding industrial power supplies and battery systems.

An ultra-wide input range of up to 1:10 allows a DC/DC converter to operate across a very wide input voltage range. This makes it possible to handle widely fluctuating battery voltages or different voltage platforms with a single converter.

Yes. Devices with a defined CC/CV charging profile can be used for controlled battery charging. The charging current and voltage are regulated according to the specific battery and application.

No derating means that the converter can deliver its full rated power across the specified temperature range from −40 °C to +85 °C without reducing its output power at high or low temperatures.
